Salad Dressings
During my senior year of high school in 2003, I interned for Maren Caruso, a professional food photographer based in San Francisco. One of her jobs was photographing Salad Dressings by Jessica Strand (published by Chronicle Books). I aided her in this project by assisting her with producing the photography and editing the images.

Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about expressing the beauty of food through photography and design. I believe that the culinary arts can be more than a means to make your mouth water, but a way of exploring lighting, composition, and abstraction.
